Custom gutters, formed on your driveway, hung to last. We run heavy 032 aluminum, not the thin 027 the cheap installers use. The 032 coil is roughly 50 percent more resistant to bending, and a properly hung run lasts twenty to thirty years or more. Look at the lines in these photos. They are straight, tight to the fascia, and pitched correctly so water moves instead of standing.
The part you cannot see from the street is the part that matters most: hidden hangers set every two feet. Florida code allows spacing up to about three feet. We set ours every two, which is why our gutters do not peel off the house when the rain comes down hard. See how seamless gutters are built.
This is what real leaf protection looks like installed. Our guards are 316L surgical stainless micro-mesh on a heavy aluminum frame. In these before-and-after shots you can see a gutter packed with oak leaves and pine needles, then the same run cleaned out and capped so debris sheds off the top and water drops straight through.
Look closely at the mesh. A good micro-mesh guard sits flat and tight, with no gaps at the seams and no flimsy plastic that warps in the Florida sun. We clean every gutter before we cap it, because installing guards over a dirty gutter just seals the mess inside. Pay attention to the edges and the corners in these photos. Where the water actually goes. Gutters are only half the job. If the water dumps right at the base of the house, you trade a roof problem for a foundation problem. These photos show solid PVC drainage glued, sealed, and buried to carry water about five feet away from the house, where it belongs.
We also pulled in a failure photo on purpose. That cracked black corrugated pipe is what most installers bury, and it breaks at every bend and underground where you never see it, until pavers start washing out and the patio starts to sink. The job everybody else says cannot be done. Aluminum awning and box gutters on a lanai have a known design flaw. They clog, they overflow on the patio, and most companies tell the homeowner to live with it. We manufacture a retrofit so a guard finally sheds debris off the awning the way it should.

You should not have to take anyone’s word for it, including ours. So here is how to read a gutter photo like an inspector would. First, look at the line of the gutter against the roof. It should be straight and tight, not wavy or pulling away. Second, look for the hangers and how close together they are. Far apart means it will sag. Third, check the seams and corners, because that is where leaks and clogs start. Fourth, follow the downspout. Where does the water go, and is it carried away from the house or just dumped at the slab?
